Thank you very much for this information. My family are not 'doctor going' people and it is hard to reason as to how do we find a knowledgeable person for advice and direction, when it comes to our health. We have a compounding pharmacy near us but I just assumed they were just like all of the other drug pushers. Good to know they have consultations. Good to know to ask them for advice on doctors who are not traditional pill pushers as well.

I enjoy all of your informative posts here as well.

Yes, thank you Dr. Baker. I also assumed they were like the others. I appreciate this info.

Compounding pharmacists work at an interesting intersection of doctors looking for individualized solutions and patients who are interested in self-education and the consideration of treatment options that are alternatives to "business as usual." They have an almost unique perspective of "who's doing what" in their locale.

I have been in the “traditional” medicine circle for 10 years. I am very new to finding out about these “non-traditional” treatments and doctors. I would have never thought about my compound pharmacy being a resource for finding a Doctor that thinks outside the box. I use Ketamine nasal spray for my migraine treatment and get that filled at a compound pharmacy. I’m definitely going to talk to her the next time I am in there. Thanks for the tip.
