How to use the Women’s Assessment Calendar (WAC)
Find the WAC at Resource 27 F and print out several full page copies.
Write in the month and year at the top right. You will start recording with today’s calendar date, and can disregard the previous days, unless you had a period earlier in the month and can mark in the exact days of flow.
For tracking your menses, mark them at the bottom of the page, using the simple legend of ‘X’ for regular days of flow, ‘S’ for spotting and ‘H’ for heavier than usual flow.
On the left you will see 44 different symptoms, including ~12 in the middle that have several different ways of expressing one’s psychological state. Each of them can be related to changes in hormonal levels, although every one of them could indicate symptoms that are independent of hormonal influence as well.
